Learning Finnish
Hi all,
I'm just starting to learn Finnish. I've been poking away at a beginner's course over on Memrise.com for a couple of months but I'd love any resources or advice for learning the language that anyone can offer. Right now I feel like I know a fair number of words, but not really how to construct sentences or the like.
I just got back from my first trip to Finland to visit my boyfriend... and well, he's now my fiance! :) The plan is for me to move there sometime within a year. He's coming over in May or June, and we're getting married then, and then we get to deal with all the fun of immigration paperwork. :P
Anyway, I'm absolutely in love with Finland and its culture, so I'd greatly appreciate any advice you all could offer with regards to learning the language (or with immigrating there... but one thing at a time, I suppose!)
