This event in Newmarket on May 16, 2008, will probably have a place in the history of theology long after most other church matters related to Canadians of Finnish extraction are long forgotten. It was covered widely in the VS at the time, as part of the progressive tradition of Finnish Canadians dating back to the early decades of the 20th century.
