FELMin pappilan ovet ovat jälleen auki - Rovastipariskunta Teuvo ja Rauha Huhtinen palasi Thunder Bayhin

Teuvo ja Rauha Huhtinen Kanadan Kalliovuoria ihailemassa.

Toiset käyvät kerran ja lähtevät iäksi. Toiset taas palaavat takaisin, uudestaan ja uudestaan.

Rovasti Teuvo Huhtinen ja hänen vaimonsa Rauha ovat niitä, joille Kanadalla on tietty paikka sydämessä. He saapuivat lokakuun lopussa Thunder Bayhin, jossa he ovat kolme kuukautta vapaaehtoisina Suomalaisessa Evankelisluterilaisessa Missiossa FELMissä.

Kanadan Sanomat should include as background basic information about the difference between "FELM" and the "Hilldale Church", one is close to LCC and the other is officially ELCIC. LCC (Lutheran Church Canada) does not accept women as priests and has a restrictive view of marriage, I understand. ELCIC accepts women as priests and accepts Canadian law in matters of marriage. - There was an LCC Finnish congretation in Toronto, but they closed shop around 2000 or so.
